Initially there was a bit of a problem with the camera software.  It just
didn't do what it was supposed to and the only way I could access the pics
on my camera was via My Computer and opening folder after folder.  It didn't
give me the menu options I needed.
However I went over to my cousin Margi's place today to see if we could sort
it out together.  We struggled at first but we now think we have done it.
I have reinstalled the software and it seems to be saying all the things it
should now.  It was just not coming up with the boxes to tell me how to
proceed, but it is now.
Margi has just bought herself a new device which scans, photocopies colour
and does almost everything except make hot drinks.
While I was there she said  "would you like the scanner that I was using
until last week?"
Just a bit!   so I now have a scanner as well.  I have downloaded a driver
for it from Epson and the install went well.
I will connect everything up tomorrow to see if it works.  I am too tired to
do it thi evening as I tried to keep on my feet almost all day in
preparation for going back to work on the 31 August and it's still a bit too
much.
So, when I understand how to use the scanner and the camera and sort out how
to use webshots, you might see more of Kitty FC & Boyfriend than you ever
wanted to ;-)
I have a pic of Kitty FC taken yesterday wondering where to put it.  It is
kind of Lori to give me a page on her website, but really she cannot want me
to be mailing too often saying  "oh, here is another photo..can you put this
up for me?"   She has enough to do with her new job.
Thank you Lori for the new pics of Boyfriend you put up for me.  You are a
star.
