Willow went to the vet this morning and apparently has put on .2 lbs. It is
a different scale, but heck...a gain is a gain. We have an appointment at a
specialist in a few weeks. She still has the runs and does throw up, but
we're working on it.
Today for the first time in a week, she rolled over and wanted a belly rub.
I was happy to see that, but then had to pop her in her carrier to take her
to TED.
I am cooking some chicken for her and she is skulking in the kitchen
awaiting her meal.

What food is Willow on? I tell you Hills w/d sure has stopped Pearls runs (
and the runs would make her throw up). She is like a new cat. You might ask
the vet about it.

I am very happy to hear she is putting weight on. Does TED say there is
anything you can feed that has megacalories to help the process along?
I only have dog experience for huge weight gain, I'm afraid it doesn't
apply to cats :-(

When she was living with my dad, they gave her some high density food, but
she yacked it up. I will wait till we go to the specialist to discuss a
different food.
FWIW she has been eating roasted chicken. Last night I gave her canned
chicken and she yacked it up.
Any ideas on why she yakked?

Canned chicken would have more salt?

Good point. I'm trying with canned chicken again, without the rice to see
how she fares. If she yaks again, back to regular roasted :)
