The baby hasn't had any gas today, which is quite a relief, since he was
a pretty stinky boy there for a while (sorry, Stinky). He also likes to
cuddle near my face, so I always got the full blast, so to speak. P-U!
Glad that seems to be over.
Besides his gooshy food, he has eaten some herring today, though mostly
he likes to play with the herrings. Something that Nikki used to do was
dunk the herrings in the water bowl, and baby boy does the same.
You know this thing about mother cats biting the whiskers off their
kittens? Well, baby boy only has a couple of fully grown whiskers, the
other ones have been bitten off, but it must have been one of the adult
cats at the fosterer's, because it's over a month since he left his mother.
He exhibits some signs of having been separated from his mother too
soon, like sucking on my neck and my earlobes. He also kneads my neck,
and my face. Not great to have those little pointy claws sink into your
eyes. :oP
His eyes seem a lot better today, but I'll take him to TED's next week,
anyway. Maybe they can help me determine his age, and check him over in
general.

No, no... He's just lulling you into a false sense of security. I have it on
good authority from my own striped horror that f*rting is an ability tabbies
have inbuilt at the genetic level...

Oh well. How do you think he got his name? ;)

Mimi (RB) used to trim Stinky's down. Nobody was allowed to have
longer whiskers than the queen. ;)
