Cats' Weight Tracking

My vet told me that Sammy needs to lose some weight (but all my other cats
should *not* lose weight).  Therefore, I'm trying to closely monitor all
their weights - weighing them on a digital baby scale at the same time every
Monday.

Being the little obsessive/compulsive that I am, I had to create an Excel
file to help me document and visualize their weight over time until December
2006.

The file has functions that, after you've entered each cat's weight for the
week, will show you how much each cat as lost or gained that week, keeps a
running total of their weight change from the time you start weighing, and
has a line chart that shows you the weight fluctuations.

If any of you would like a copy of the file, email me (my email addy isn't
munged) and I'll send it to you.  If you have more or less than 4 cats, and
want to use the chart, I'll have to walk you through modifying the file (but
Excel makes it pretty easy by intuitively changing the function to do what
you'd like, so that shouldn't be too difficult).

Hugs,

How about weight gain?  I am really worried and would like to track Willow's
weight.

It tracks either gain (positive number difference) or loss (negative number
difference).

Thanks for the program CN - I've adapted it to my clan and change dthe dates
(from starting mid-July to starting today).  I weighed all *8* this morning,
and these are the results

Ernie: 14.125
Lizzie: 9.25
Mimi: 12.3125
Moe: 9.5
Ping: 11.5625
Smokey: 8.8125
Tennessee: 16 (!!!!!!)
Weeble: 10.75

Now you all know the reason why Tennessee is called Crushinator, Ernie is
Crushinator Jr, and Mimi is Butterball.  But Ping!!!!  I had no idea Ping
was over 11 pounds!!!!  And that Moe weighs more than Lizzie!!!!!

Can't wait for next week to see if there's any difference!

I have also adapted it to track mine & DH's weight on a *daily* basis, and
between Wed & Thurs, I lost 1 lb, and DH gained 1/2 lb!
