The girls have been extra affectionate this week... probably because
we left them alone and went on vacation (horrors!) So now they're
demanding lots of cuddles and pettings, kneading on us, snuggling up
close at every possible opportunity, and generally being sweet
irresistable fifteen pound kittens! lol Silver even came along and
climbed up on my shoulder today and purred for me, while breaking my
arm with her weight...
Last night I was playing with them in the bedroom and I told John to
grab the camera... Silver played with the camera strap on the broken
camera, then I fetched the feather-on-a-stick. Scouty was very
suspicious and wouldn't cooperate - every time one of us pointed the
camera at her she ran away - but after the toys had gone away and the
camera was put down and I was lying on the bed watching tv she came
along and cuddled up to me, and she was too busy purring and kneading
to notice when John picked up the camera again.

What a wonderful smile Scout has!

I also wanted to say that I still have trouble telling the girls apart
from their belly markings, although their back markings are
distinctive.  How do you tell them apart? :)  They're awfully pretty
sisters.

Silver's a lot leaner than Scout... Scout is solid packed muscle, and
her head is rounder. She looks like a little owl to me - she obviously
takes after the 'british shorthair' - round stubby head, fairly short
legs and a barrel of a body. Silver is more your oriental type and
she's showing their siamese blood (supposedly one of their parents was
a meezer...) She's long and lean and very long-legged, with pointy
ears and a much pointier nose than Scouty.

From the bottom it's hard for me to tell them apart either, but
Silver's tummy fur is creamier coloured than Scout's. In that album
all the playing photos are Silver, and the cuddling-up-to-meowmie ones
are Scouty...

I love the look on Silvers face as you're petting her. She looks in 7th
heaven! And you can see her doing milky-tread paws...

in a word.... AWWWWWW

Actually that's Scouty collecting the scritches... and she was
absolutely ECSTATIC to get the attention. You wouldn't think I give
her an intensive petting session at least once a day, would you? :)
