We went to PetSmart today for some Luna food. I always like to do the
obligatory pass-by of the kitty room. There are some kitties that have
been there for a while. Always makes me sad and makes me wish I had a
place to take them all. Anyway, there was an absolutely STUNNING all
white persian kitty there. Apparently someone had dumped him off in a
carrier within the last few days with a note that they couldnt keep him
because the other cats in the house were beating up on him and he was
very scared, hiding in the corner, etc. (sounds kinda weird if you ask
me!) (then again, all the "excuses" are weird and annoying if you ask
ME!) They had to give him a lion cut because he had been terribly
matted. He had the SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEETEST face ever and he clearly was
terrified, though very responsive to human touch (yay-good sign for
him!) Honestly the look on his face was like "how the heck did I get
here!?" His big wide eyes just broke my heart. I am sure that since he
is a purebred, he will likely be the first to be adopted out of that
room...and of course every cat in that room deserves a home...but that
big white boy got into my head!!!!!! DH was loving on him too.
No, there is no chance of us adopting him. But I will be stopping by to
visit him if I can this week and purraying for him to get adopted fast!
Stupid sucky people abandoning cats.

And have you had a chance to go back and see if he's still there?
