Ugh, my feet hurt, from three days straight of working 8-9 hour shifts.

Things are the same at the clinic, we're getting more animals boarding
as families start to take their last vacations this month before the
kids go back to school.

The total cost of boarding my two birdies, and three cats, and
including two cat baths, is $350. *sigh*  And that's with my employee
discount.  Ah well, it's about two weeks worth of pay.  But it couldn't
be helped, and at least the cats and birdies were well taken care of.

Today was Sunday and we had a TON of appts along with walk-ins for the
vaccine clinic.  oh and we were short a technician and a receptionist
so things were quite crazy.  After walking all the dogs then I had to
take care of the cats.  All of them seemed to be okay except when I
tried to take care of Tigger.  Tigger is a striped demon from hell, if
I may make that analogy.  Sue and I tried to first get him out, and
then at least change his litter tray and water dish but every time we
reached in there he went nuts and swiped at us.  Sheesh!

I think the highlight of the day was the tub full of six daschund pups
that all needed vaccines.  awwwwww!!!!!
There were a few kittens too, that were quite cute.  I've been watching
the littl bittie that Dr. Z has been caring for.  To remind you it was
dropped off at her bf's clinic and it was about 10 days old.  it's
soooooo cute!!  We've been watching it grow bigger and bigger each day,
and the other day I noticed that he finally opened his eyes.  His ears
are still kinda folded, but he's trying to move around.  It's hilarious
though to watch him roll around the small carrier in attempts to move,
especially since he has this cute pot belly tummy.  I hadn't realized
how cute bitty tummies were!!!

I'm now relaxing and I'm glad that I'll get a day off.  I also have
four days of Microbiology left.  I've hated every minute of it, but
hopefully I can pull off a C and pass, which is all I really care
about.  

*yawn* time to rest....
