It is much too HOT!  Way to hot for a kitty to play, romp or do other
catlike things.  Even cuddling up to a hoomin is way too hot!

The kitchen and bathroom floor are on the cool side, but not as soft
unfortunately.  And the stoopid hoomin keeps HOGGING the fan!!!  How
selfish of her!

It's times like these that I almost wish that I didn't have so much fur
and walk around in my skin like my hoomin.  a very big ALMOST, mind
you, I wouldn't be caught dead in nothing but my skin.

She tosses at lot on the bed because she's so warm and today I saw her
making a nest of blankets on the cooler floor.  It was close to the big
wallbox thingy that blows cold air.

Oh what is a cat to do?

Mischief

Hoomin note:

It is over 80 degrees F, both outside and in my apartment.  It's quite
warm and it's way too hot in my bed.  My AC unit in my bedroom does not
blow directly onto my bed, so I've made a nest on the floor so it does.
Both Mischief and Mayhem are quite confused.  But I need my sleep, I
work tomorrow at 9 am, and I hate working on Sundays......

I feel for ya.  It's cool here in SW Tennessee now but only because we had
big thunderstorms roll through yesterday afternoon.

Persia was extra snuggly last night.  She usually falls asleep with her head
on my waist and at least one paw touching me.  I rolled over on my side and
rather than moving away as she is wont to do, she stretched out, still
snuggled against my back.  Since I don't sleep well most of the time, this
allowed me to give her little tummy scritches as I awakened off and on
throughout the night.  This elicited much purring :)
