My moms cat Tycho has to stay at the vet while they try to wash a big
hairball (we hope) out of his stomach. He does have extraordinarily thick
hair. I am just hoping it is not like my Grant and turn out to be worse.
However, he was just acting lethargic, and that is why she took him in
(unlike Grant's projectile vomiting). So any purrs would be great. Poor
Petrus would be LOST without his buddy.

Poor Tycho. Hope he gets better soon. He's the big beautiful orange
boy, isn't he?
How do they wash a hairball out?

Mom went and visited and took him some of his food and a dirty old catnip
toy he likes. She is so depressed and he thought he was coming home. They
think they might be getting somewhere with the enemas as they are meeting
"some resistance". I still don't see how that will help with the hair in the
stomach. I'm really worried about this. So more purrs are definitely needed.
He will have to stay another night. :(

My purrs for Tycho will be coming.
I've had Peepers have hairball problems a few times and everytime it caused
a great deal of worry while he was away. I've been successful with a lot of
extra brushing in keeping him out of the vet hospital for 2 years now.
