One of these dogs is a lab/pit-bull, one is a shepherd, one is a
lab/newfy. They are all over 75 pounds, friendly but rambunctious.
The shepherd was the one the owner was unsure about, but none of them
paid any special attention to the cat. They just pranced around with
their tails wagging and Tweaker fully joined in except for the
wagging. He had a ball. It was the most amazing thing to watch. It
only went on for about 10 minutes.
This is a good entry for those who wish to document what a bad pet
owner I am, should that need arise again. File under, "careless
introduction of dogs to cat's territory, disaster averted by cat's
un-quick thinking."

Perhaps the dogs weren't hungry!

The guys are still here with their dogs, and it is a scene of bliss.
All the dogs have completely accepted the cat, who never had any
doubts about them. A few minutes ago they were all having a big group
nap on the kitchen floor. It's nice to see.

When I was a child, I saw a dog kill a kitten. It still bothers me to
think about it. The dog grabbed the kitten and shook it breaking its
back. It only lived a few minutes after that. MLB
