My sister has written a kid's story, and has given me permission to let
y'all read it:
My name is Sir Robert. I'm a pussy cat. I live with my Mum and Dad.
Their names are Mummy and Daddy. When I am good, Mummy and Daddy call
me Bobby. When I am naughty, Mummy and Daddy call me Bob. Mummy and
Daddy call me Bob a lot!
When I was a kitten, I lived with a lot of other kittens at the Animal
Welfare League. One day, Mummy and Daddy rescued me and took me home
to their flat. I didn't know they were my new Mummy and Daddy but
they seemed very nice. I liked them. I'm glad they picked me. They
were very tall.
I was a bit scared in the big flat without the other kittens. But
Mummy and Daddy looked after me. They let me sleep on their bed. They
gave me lots of cuddles. And gave me cups of sweet milky tea. I liked
my new Mummy and Daddy.
One day we packed up all our belongings in boxes. They were put on a
truck. Mummy, Daddy and me got in the car and drove for a very long
time. At the end, we got to a big house. It was our new house. Mummy
and Daddy bought it for me. I helped them paint it.
I grew up in the house. When I was four, Mummy and Daddy said they had
a surprise for me. They gave me a box. I looked in the box and a
little black and white kitten looked back. They said her name was
Lucy. Yuck - I didn't like Lucy.
Lucy used to chase after me and try to nibble my ears. I thought Mummy
and Daddy didn't like me anymore. I was a bit sad. But Mummy and
Daddy told me I was special, and gave me a cup of milky tea. They
still loved me. But I don't love Lucy.
2 years ago, I got sick. Very sick. Very very sick. Mummy and Daddy
were scared. They rushed me to my vet Dr Spot. He is very nice. He is
also very tall. I had to stay in hospital for ages. I missed Mummy
and Daddy. I missed my house. I missed my bed. But most of all, I
really missed Lucy.
Then I got better. I was allowed to go home. Mummy and Daddy seemed
so happy. I was very happy. Lucy just wanted to chase me. I think
Lucy was happy to. I love Lucy.
A year ago, Mummy went away for a few days. Daddy said they had a new
surprise for me and Lucy. Each night, Daddy brought some small clothes
for me and Lucy to sniff. Where was Mummy? When Mummy came home she
was carrying a basket. She put in on the ground and told me and Lucy
we had a new sister, Sarah Joy. She wasn't a cat. She was just pink.
And hairless. And made funny noises. I didn't like Sarah Joy. I will
call her Pinky!
Pinky made lots of loud noises in the night. She didn't want to chase
me. Mummy spend a lot of time with Sarah Joy. I thought she didn't
love me any more. Daddy spend a lot of time with Mummy. I thought
Daddy didn' t like me any more. Everyone was tired and didn't want to
play. I don't like Pinky.
Pinky is now one year old. She calls me BAA! I like that. She pulls
my ears and tugs at my tail. She gives me wet sloppy kisses. But best
of all... she chases Lucy for me!

I love your sister's story! Sir Robert should also include in his
biography how he was Mummy and Daddy's ringbearer. :)

Kristy
sending it to Breanna, my oldest daughter. My sister, Stacey, likes to
write kids stories too, but hers revolve around the Charmin Bear, and
he's called Charmie in her stories..
