Otis has been a real PITA lately, as I've posted. The thing is that he's
been licking his lips a lot again and I suspect that he might have some pain
in his mouth. If you all recall, he had that condition where he gets those
cavities under the gumline and he's lost a tooth that way without my
knowledge - its supposed to be painful though.
Last time, I took him in for lip licking they scraped his teeth and it went
away. I think I need to take him in again. That might explain his yowling
and hanging off the window screens. I hope. That cat is killing us ...
though is super super cuddly :D

I hope it's just a minor tooth thing. Or maybe you need to have a
talk with him "up close" ;-)

Poor Otis! Tooth trouble is such a pain, literally! I may have asked this
before, did the vet rule out thyroid issues, too?

Thanks Christine - he had a urinalysis and full blood work done last time
and he's in excellent health - nothing was out of whack. He was calm last
night, for the first time in a week - which was a real treat. I'll watch
his lip smacking and see for a day or two more before taking him in. You
have to distinguish between teeth trouble and a hairball! It may be that
one more good hairball and he'll be fine :-)

Poor Otis. Don't you wish they could talk. (then again, maybe not!)
Purrs that he settles down and you find out what's wrong.
