...at my work to see how they had fared during their stay.

I'm happy to say that all three cats have lost weight.  Yay!  Mayhem
has gone from 8 to 7.4 pounds, Imp has gone from 14.4 to 12.8 and
Mischief has gone from 13 to 11.6  Yay!

Also remember how I mentioned that MIschief went ballistic when they
tried to bathe her, there's a note in her file that reads...

"Pet got very upset in the tub.  Got wet but unable to bathe.  Will not
bathe in the future unless under sedation."

I started laughing.  Man, of all the fractious cats I've seen at the
clinic, I never expected one of my to qualify.  Apparently she's pretty
good, as long as she's not in the tub.  So when I get the money to pay
for Mischief to have her teeth cleaned, I'm going to bathe her while
she's under anesthesia. hehehehe

They all seem to have forgiven me to some extent, which is good.  Now
if I just could get them to get along with each other more.

They didn't lose all that weight in just a few days did they???? That would
be alarming to me. I hope that is since their last vet visit.

oh yeah, according to their last visit a few months ago, they were all
a few pounds heavier

You will be pleased to hear that I think that their loss of weight is
credited to my changing to Hills Science Diet Lite, the same stuff
reccommended for Scout and Silver.

Hope that they lose a little weight too

LOL! I can't say I blame her, though. If some stranger at least 10 times
my size tried to put me in a sink full of water, I'd get a bit fractious
with them myself. ;o)

My friend's cat, who's a little old man of 15 years now, has a note on his
vet's file, too. Apparently he took umbrage when they tried to pill him
(he's on thyroid meds), and I don't think he much appreciated the
thermometer-in-the-nether-end treatment, either. Again, I think I'd have
pretty much the same response if some unknown giant tried to force an
unknown object into either end of my digestive tract. ;o)

Have you seen the anti-allergy cat bath wipes like these?

I got some at PetSmart when we first brought Captain and Stanley home from
the shelter, as they were a bit, ummm, cat-litter-scented from being stuck
in a small cage with a litterbox at the shelter. They're a way to wash off
a cat without actually having to immerse the kitty in water. There are
even anti-allergy versions of these items available. Something like that
might help to keep down the amount of asthma-triggers that the kitties
shed.

Yeah I have something like that

Of course using them on a cat usually involves CATCHING the cat, and
with Mischief you have to be a bit sneaky
