Cat-testing the new furniture

After I brought the bookshelf upstairs and cleaned it up, I took some
more rubbish out and there was a big metal rack with a wooden shelf on
it sitting out there! So I brought it upstairs for my craft room, and
the cats thoroughly tested it out before I put my crafts on it... I
think they approved (though they prefered it empty)

Well done, recycling and entertaining your owners. :-)

A house is not a home, without a cat.

Honey, it's great to get free stuff, but don't forget you're going to move,
too!

Last time I moved I gave away a ton of stuff (to the Salvation Army, who
came and picked it up).  The last thing I wanted to do was acquire more
stuff to move with me!

Love the pics of Silver and Scout loving the acquired stuff, though :)

Ah, but you have to HAVE 'stuff' before you worry about giving it
away. We've been holding off on acquiring 'things' because we can't
afford them and they take up too much space etc etc but this was
totally free! Even with this new stuff we still don't have much that
we could give away, except a pile of books - I'm reading them and
stacking them up ready for a new home so we don't have to box them up!
There won't be much more to acquire though - almost everyone's moved
out now. We still don't have a dining table, and won't until we get
our new apartment. John found us  a few leads today and we're going to
go take a looksee when he finishes work tomorrow.

Oh I'm in the Been There Done That (BTDT) category.  My dining set was a
hand-me-down from my brother.  The problem I have is one of procrastination.
I wanted a new dining set and I ordered one online.  Great price, nice
dining nook!  Two years later... it's still in the boxes.  Good thing I
don't eat at a table unless I'm in a restaurant LOL!  And someone very much
like us probably picked up the dining table and 4 chairs I set out by the
curb.  It was gone in less than an hour, I can tell you that!  Hmmm, the
instructions to assemble my dining nook set say I need 2 more hands.  I
don't think I can train Persia to hold up pieces of wood while I screw them
together, and (my) John is in Arkansas. (sigh)

Catnipped, since you're on a roll, want to come over here and help me put
this darned thing together?!
