Well, my God, had I known a little special food would make this much
difference.... I really can't believe it. Pearl is sassy again. Pestering
Sugar, nipping me. Playing (well, as much as she has played). I honestly
believe her intestines are more a problem than her heart as far as day to
day feeling better. That w/d did the trick like flint. (I hate to actually
put it in print for fear of jinxing, but....) I really do think its made a
big difference. So if you ever have a cat with chronic diarrhea, it's sure
worth asking the vet about trying.

That's wonderful, Karen! So glad that Pearl is feeling so much better.
Maybe she wil be less cranky in the future? I was amazed at how much
better Frank looked soon after I started giving him the kidney diet, he
very quickly put on some weight after having been a sack of skin and
bones for a time.

Oddly enough, crankiness (snootiness, nippiness, stuborness) increase the
better she feels. When she isn't feeling good, she just lies around being
pathetically nice and undemanding. Poor Sugar was getting a real workout
last night as Pearl was apparently making up for lost terrorizing time
(Actually, I'm not sure that Sugar hates it as much as her ears indicate.
Maybe that bald patch on her arm will go away. She only got that AFTER Pearl
started laying around ignoring her.)

I'm not exactly sure what that is, but my crew like it :)
Glad Pearl is back to her old self.

So glad Pearl is feeling better and back to her sassy self. It's
amazing that a change in diet had such an effect on her. I bet she was
really feeling bad before.

So glad to hear Pearl is doing so much better.
Speaking from experience, prescription food can really do the trick.
I wish I switched prescription food sooner to rid Rusty of his prolonged
diarrhea.

Excellent news, Karen! I'm so happy the food switch seems to be what she
needed and she's feeling that much better so quickly!

I am so pleased that the new diet has seen such an improvement in Pearl.
The thing about diarrhoea is that it gripes the stomach so much with pain so
many times a day. I once had chronic d myself for a few months and it made
me absolutely miserable.
Purrs that Pearl is now on the up and feeling great on her new food.
