I used to subscribe to rec.pets.cats many, many moons ago and told
tales of my black cats, Basil and Sage.  I recently found the messages
and they are from 1995!  Anyone been here that long and remember them?

Well, they're still going and still lots of fun.  I had said they were
about 4 in those posts and to be honest, I'd lost count, but that puts
them at a sprightly 14 today.

I just stumbled back onto the group and wondered if anyone had been
around for donks and remembered them?

was happy with two...)

I wasn't around back then, but wanted to welcome you back to the group.
Hope to hear more about your pride. They say cats are like potato chips,
one just leads to another. ;o) I have two at the moment, getting my
third in a couple of weeks. There are links to lots of pictures of them
in my sig.

Your pics are lovely!  ;o)  I had two... then three...  then four...
then three :o( .... then five!  I'm thinking 6 sounds like a nice round
number!  Yikes!

I'm new here, so I don't remember Basil and Sage, but welcome back, Linda
and four foots. =o)

You know... one cat just leads to another! I currently have three, as I got
an unexpected kitten out of the young female cat I adopted last spring.  And
of course, the kitten was way too cute, and I got way too attached to her to
give her up and..... somehow, I have three cats. =o) Of course, Panther is
my senior citizen, and while he may have another good year or two, he's not
going to last forever.  So after his departure, I'll still have my girls to
keep me company.
