Yes, Lula has never met a box she didn't like.  Did  Nikki have a clear
distinction between boxes for playing in and boxes for sleeping in?
Lula knows right away which is which.   :-)

Hubie's nose looks big because he's got a big patch of brown hair on
the bridge (?? that's what it would be called on a human face) but then
his actual nose is lined like with eyeliner.  I love it too.

And Mikey was indeed deceptively angelic looking.  One of the best
camoflage jobs *ever*.   :-P

Hube has started using his velvet paws to boop us back!  Suddenly there
will be a light touch on hand or foot or face, and it's Hubie, giving
*you* a boop!

Thank you!  Hubie is indeed big, but even though he's had his first
birthday he's still very much a kitten.  He alternates bursts of
waaayyy too much energy with times of needing to cuddle with meowmie
and make little babykitten squeaks.   ;-)

Every day I think about how they got here, and my heart stops, thinking
what if I'd taken out the trash just ten minutes later, or if Lula
hadn't been more hungry than scared.  We are *very* lucky to have these
little sweethearts.  And they remind us of that every day.   ;-)

Klassic Tabbies are our favorites, over here....

Sorry, Francesca, the resident expert in Classic Tabbydom had to put in her
two Sardines worth. =o) Nina is more of a mackeral tabby though, so
everyone's happy.

Hube is EMINENTLY boopable, although he is huge!

It looked when Hubie was a baby that he might turn out long-haired;
they thought so at TED's office.  As it is, his spotted little belly is
a bit shaggy, but other than that he turned into a sleek short-haired
kittyman.  A lot of what you write about Boyfriend reminds me of Hubie,
actually; they both seem to have that similar sweet temperament, though
Hubert is *full* of energy.  I am hoping some chilling out will happen
eventually.   ;-)

Lula is indeed beautiful; I wish her pictures turned out better.  You
can't really see her sweet little face very well.

Thank you, Susan.  Mike was my little furry soulmate.  It seems like he
and Otis had quite a lot in common; problematic, but endearing.   :-)

Lula does look elegant, but actually a lot of the time she's a little
goofball.  It's only when she and I are alone, with no DH and no Hubie,
that she lets her fur down, so to speak, so it's hard to get a pic of
her being silly.

Hey, Christine!  Hubie weighs about 16 pounds, as best I can tell by
peering over his squirming self at the bathroom scale.  He does have
big feet, which makes me suspect he may not be *quite* finished
growing.  He has pretty much grown into that ridiculous tail of his,
though.  For a while there we were suspecting he was actually a lemur.
