Also, the first few nights I slept, or rather, didn't get much sleep, on a pile of blankets and pillows on the floor, but on Friday my new mattress arrived (the bed comes later), and sleeping on it is just utter bliss! We did have a number of channel splits in the middle of talking which is annoying but also led to some wild speculation as to what the other folks were doing while out there in cyberspace separated from the rest of us! :) I need a new mattress! Volker & I were there too:-)) It was quite exciting. When the channel was not that full, I even could have some conversation. That was before the official chat-time:-) There were a lot of people early. I've never quite understood miRC although I use it for one other chat room. I've often looked at the list of servers on miRC and tried connecting to one or two, no luck. It would be interesting to learn how to use it properly. Once I get in I am OK and can use pop ups, send and receive music and photos etc. With Flippy's Catchat it was easier for me to click on her link direct. Bev SignatureDogs may shed, but cats shred.
