Leather Lace
Missing since Thursday Night
< we'll put a picture in here >
Much loved pale blue leather lace, last seen on hallway mat. Does not
answer to any name. Beautiful long lace, slightly chewed both ends,
hard from wetness at one end. If you have seen the leather lace,
please call 07xxxxxxxxx immediately with news. Molly is crying.

You had me worried for a moment. Poor Molly.

She didn't eat it, did she? That could be dangerous.

Awwww, poor Molly. We shall light a special blue candle tonight to help
guide the leather lace back to the hallway mat where it belongs so that
Molly can be happy again.

It is probably out of reach under the refrigerator, bookcase, etc.

Thanks everyone for their kind thoughts and wishes for Molly at this
difficult time. Apologies to anyone worrying that it was the cat who
was lost - oops, soz, didn't mean to worry anyone.
Alas, the blue lace has not reappeared. I don't think she's eaten it -
she's really very small. I shall have another look under the telly
unit thing tonight. Then I guess it'll be time to look for a
replacement lace, if there ever could be such a thing.
Perhaps there's a lace/ribbon mountain somewhere that dogs hide all the
cats' toys at? You never know...

Is it really leather lace? I don't think I"ve ever seen that before.

Yep. But it's A leather lace, rather than a piece of lace made of
leather... errrm, not like a doily made of leather. Like a thin
shoe-lace made of leather. I think it came out of the sleeve of one of
my hippy/goth type tops!
I've not seen one since. In fact, I've not seen this one for a while
;o( Molly still rushes excitedly to the mat in the hallway whenever
there's an outside chance that that's the way I'm going. I've bought
some new toys off eBay today that no doubt will be shunned... as she
runs to the mat in the hallway to see if the lace has come back...

This is just so sad :( (I get it now. Like a leather shoe lace. Maybe you
should visit a shoe store and see if they have any.)
