poor lil' confoosed jasper

We are getting new furniture in our living room tomorrow! (yay!!)
However, we had to get rid of some old stuff tonight and the living room
is missing a couch and a coffee table. Blind cats obviously rely on
things being in the same place all the time! So, poor Jasper was
wandering around looking for a couch that wasnt there tonight. He kept
putting his paws up on the wall thinking that was it! Hopefully he'll
sleep a lot tonight (heh. duh.) and then tomorrow the new stuff will be
here! Then he can get reprogrammed. I just felt so bad for him as he
must be so terribly confused!

In Luna news, she has been hiding in various closets all night tonight
due to the loud thunder passing over! The skies have been rumbling for
hours and she is petrified. Poor Luna-stein!

Aw, poor Jasper! Be sure to give him extra scritches from me. Purrs that
he'll become accustomed to the new furniture quickly.

I missed seeing this somehow this morning (thanks, Lori, for reposting
it). Purrs and gentle headbutts from my house for poor lil Jasper. I
imagine that is quiet discerning for a blind cat. Special headbutts
from Selena to Luna as well. Selena understands hiding under the bed due
to thunderstorms.

Thanks! The furniture arrived today and so far Jasper is sleeping on my
bed. Hehe. Luna sniffed it out and sat on the arm of the chair as if to
say "Ok. I can sit here." Now she's hiding in the closet again. (It's
raining) I think Jasper was definitely upset/confused last night. He
kept howling and eventually ended up sleeping with us. Usually he sleeps
on the couch.
