makes a girl need to get in the great outdoors and go a-hunting.

Vernon & Nathan were messing about with bicycles in the garage today (quelle
surprise... not!), so the felines were out there with them, in the garage,
in the garden, sitting on the top of Herman the German... prowling the long
grass.. In the space of two hours Waffles presented me with three voles and
a shrew. This time all departed this mortal coil.

Francis brought a vole home ... minus its head. And Marble just wandered
about aimlessly

I sense a missing ending. Anyway, that was some feat of Waffles! There
is no doubt that she is the reigning huntress supreme. BTW, Frank would
think it nice if she would teleport out to the island and keep him
company and... well, you know. There's good hunting there, too.

Well, the little hussy refused to come in last night. I spent the entire
night sleepless and making repeated efforts to find her. I suspect the
teleporter may have been in use. If Frank is looking a shade weary today, we
know what's been going on. Herself turned up this morning, full of the joys
of spring, wet, as it had been raining all night, but her tail was up, her
eye bright and her whiskers out. I suspect she was feeling pleased with
herself.

I wouldn't be surprised if she had spent the night on a certain island
with a certain garter-clad gentlecat. His Grandmeowmie reports that
Frank has been hiding out under the bed today, which is unusual. It's
been raining lately on the island, too...

So she's worn him out, eh? ;-)
