Still good people in the world
To the editor:

In today's world of terrorists, murderers, every kind of horrible human
behavior imaginable, we sometimes wonder if anything or anybody is good
anymore. Well, the answer is a huge yes!

Upon arriving home from the grocery store the other evening, my husband was
very upset about a little kitten that had found its way into our yard. It
had been badly wounded by another animal, could hardly walk and was
screaming in pain.

I put it into a pet carrier and went into the house to call the vet, only to
realize it was after hours. So I called Terry Maxwell's emergency number. He
and Ginny Murphy were at the office within 15 minutes where they very
lovingly examined, cleaned and treated the kitten.

They kept it for several days and continued treating it, with Ginny taking
it home with her the second night and several nights thereafter, because she
was so concerned about it.

Even though I love cats, I'm allergic to them, so I couldn't keep it, but
Ginny assured me that they would either find a home for it or she would take
it herself.

God bless you, Terry Maxwell and Ginny Murphy.

How sweet!  Nice of them to take care of the kitten in that manner.
