As regards what I'm supposed to have said under the beverages thread, here
is what I posted. You will see I did *not* cross-post, and I am certainly
*not* the author of the bit you object to. For you to check, I have included
the headers and full text of what is in my outbox... Either you are
misreading, or someone has been trying to play nasty, which would not be a
surprise me on what appears to be a cross-posted thread... I am most
certainly not the author of " But even still, Dan should not have lied to
Mary and Rhonda and Tracy. He could have just told them he had other plans
for the cat"

My lifesaver for when I'm on the bike in hot weather and melting... as
discovered last summer in France is a bought cold drink - Lipton Ice Tea
(Nestea if Lipton not available) in peach flavour. It is amazing... it is
what got me to doing a century on a fully loaded touring bicycle in *heat*

Non-alcoholic - a nice cup of tea or coffee Alcoholic - mulled wine :-)

And looking over on google groups, it seems perhaps that someone I have in
my kill-file is played silly beggars with my post on the beverages thread
which gave Krista the wrong impression.. She really is a pathetic sicko if
she is (the one who altered the post, not Krista).

Mary (that is, Marys@catlover.com) *added* some lines and then "replied" to
them. Just for good measure, she also crossposted. She did the same thing
to several others!

Jumping in where I probably shouldn't...
The beverages thread was originally a Conan thread, cross-posted
between rpca and rpch+b. I removed the h+b group and the Conan text
and started the beverages thread in rpca only.
One person that I know of has been doing cross-posted (rpca, h+b)
messages from that thread, but it isn't Helen. Her contribution to
that thread, as shown below, is exactly what my newsreader received -
and no cross-posting!
Wish I had Krista's email addy, I'd send this message that way too...

(snippage)
I know that those weren't your words; I was being facetious when I said
I didn't agree with you. I just posted that so you'd know someone was
impersonating you. I should've put a smiley. :-)
And I didn't notice it was cross-posted; I am so accustomed to dealing
with people who know how to behave themselves that I am not used to
checking for that. Mea culpa.
