Trouble is the only cat I know who talks to ceiling fans! She
chatters at it the same way she does when she sees a bird outside the
window. She's been trying to get that thing since she was 2 months
old, now she's over about 4 years old. You should see her head follow
the fan movement when it's on low speed. Around and around.
Hilarious!

When Yoda was a kitten, his owner (my son) was ten years old. Being an
avid fisherman, he had a tacklebox full of those plastic worms without
hooks. Yoda's favorite game was for my son to lay on his bed and throw
those worms up into the ceiling fan.
It's funny now to look at that old senior citizen cat and remember him
jumping all over the room to catch those worms.

My one cat is deathly afraid of them. He is 11 years old, and this just
started in the last 2 years or so. Whenever we turn one on, he looks up,
ducks, and runs his booty off trying to get away...

LOL LB and Sammy don't pay any attention to the ceiling fan, but it
Spot was fascinated, and made a little nervous, when she noticed it.
Doesn't bother her in the least now, though, and I kind of miss seeing
her stare at it with her head going in little circles as it spins.
BTW - in a couple minutes we'll be off to TED to get her stitches out.
Someone mentioned about cats going into hiding when it comes time to
go on a trip - well Spot is the same way about her TED trips. I think
she may have slipped up this time, though. She's hiding under the
recliner, but I happened to catch a glipse of her as she went into
hiding. Spot may think she's found a good hiding place, but Sammy (my
little tattle tail, is sitting a couple feet in front of the chair
watching it VERY intently.

I was thinking of installing a ceiling fan in 'Rusty's room'. That room
gets a lot of afternoon sun and the AC cannot reach it.
Wonder how Rusty will react to it.

Awww. Once a week or so my RB Mike would notice the ceiling fan for
the *very first time ever* and was always completely astounded. ;-)

Chaos thinks it's a giant ceiling-greeble. She will not go near the new
kitchen, because there's a /THING/ moving up there.
