For those of you who might remember, Pirate was a beautiful, shy, FIV+
rescue kitty that I was extremely lucky to find a wonderful home for in
2003. I keep loosely in touch with his catslaves, Diane and George, who
have Pirate and two other FIV+ rescues, and this is what I heard from George
this week upon my inquiring how Pirate is doing:
"Pirate is doing really well. He is still a bit shy, but he really loves
Diane and tolerates me pretty well. He nudges her to be petted and scratched
and sits about halfway in her lap, but hasn't committed to all the way as
yet...Pirate has come a long way and really seems to be content."
Thought ya'll might like to hear.
:o)

That;s great, Christine! I remember well when you were doing your big
rash of rescues back then. All the kitties were lucky.

Hey cool photos!
I like Midnight under wraps! That's so cute!
I really want a black cat. I also like smoochies! It really captured
the cats sweetness.
And finally, I like them little red chili peppers on the wall!

I used to have a big ol pepper flag, waving in front of my house.

A house is not a home, without a cat.

He's a beauty!
And I'm a softie for the name "Pirate", because a particular favorite
hockey player of mine was on the Portland (ME) Pirates for the past few
seasons. So one :o) for Pirate and another :o) for his name.
BTW, as I was going through that album to find the Pirate pics, I ran
across this one:

Of course I remember Pirate. I'm so very glad to hear he is doing so well.
You truly found the perfect family for him.

I'm glad he's doing well Christine. He looks a bit like Inge's Owl.
