Well, that's what Waffles thinks ;-)
This morning as I was having a cup of coffee and reading the post, the TV
was on. The programme was about African wildlife and some lions who are
habituated to humans, hence dangerous, hence in an enclosure. The presenter
was chucking hindquarters of some sort of animal over the fence to feed the
lions.
At this point, I heard the catflap move, and then the distinct sound of
"MOWZ! MOWZ!!" Sure enough there was Queen Of All She Surveys wandering into
the room and she drops a freshly caught shrew at my feet.
I pointed out that indeed, in the world of felines, there is no mightier
huntress than she and that she is far better than pathetic lions who had to
be fed by mere humans. Waffles purred her agreement.

Captain and Stanley are mighty hunters... they've even caught and killed
lots of shiny flying things lately.
Unfortunately, bubbles have a tendency to vanish outright when a kitty
tries to pick them up. Even the ones made for kitties, that are supposed
to have catnip scent.
That does it. Captain and Stanley are now insisting that we provide them
with more robust bubbles. They want to carry their prey around, too.
Donna -- anybody know where we can get some indestructible bubbles around
here? :o)
