Yup, that sums it up pretty neatly. Quite a condensation of what is
probably now tens of thousands of posts.

Outrageous. It's so easy on usenet not to read the posts or people who
you don't want to read.

Good summary, now I understand it better - lol!

Technically easy yes, but one must have the will to not read the posts. And
my guess is most will read and but yet will bitch about them, then continue
to read becuase they want to be apart of the group that knows what's
happening. Rather than do as you say, ignore them.

Hey that's pretty decent, it is clear and concise without emotion, let's see
who can find something in it to tear down. And it can all be supported
through private e-mails and group chat. Nice!

Hey, Trish, why don't you share your discovery with the group? :)

I added it as a new thread, I'll repaste it here: Inquiring minds want to
know Dylan/Conan :)

I added the post where Dan mentioned moving to Highland--in yet another
thread.
Those who trust him need to know how dishonest Dan can be, and for no
good reason. He knew we were trying to find a local home for Conan,
as even Charlie agreed that was best. Dan owes us all an apology.
Since he is directly responsible for this poor cat being in a cage for
two weeks, I want to know if he has at least been to see him. My
heart just aches for this cat.

Lie. With you hovering about, Dan has every reason to be on
guard against you.

Your feeble attempts at home finding took precedence over getting
Conan out of harms way.
> Dan owes us all an apology.
Dan owes you NOTHING. Mary, you have not only failed, you have
made yourself a huge embarrassment.
> Since he is directly responsible for this poor cat being in a

An unsubstantiated guesstimate on your part. At the very least
Conan is off "death row" which more than you can say for your
discombobulated efforts.
> I want to know if he has at least been to see him. My

What a HUGE joke. But hey ... you make up facts as you see fit,
why not just make up some new "facts" about Conan being placed in
a home of your approval?
Heart? Mary ... you don't have a heart. You have a fantasy of
having a heart.

Not an outrage against me, certainly. I violated the TOS, and I'm
responsible for the consequences.
I think "ridiculous" is a better word than "outrageous."
The regulars in rcpa have gulped down a lot of Dan's sticky-sweet
koolaid prose. It taken a steep toll on their intellects, which were
probably none too rugged to begin with.

People circulate into these groups after an absence, or maybe because
of getting a new cat, and I figure it is useful to have a link to
paste when someone asks for a summary. I think anyone who understands
the basic fact pattern will see why we are unhappy about what
happened. Especially now, with fresh evidence the cat remains
kenneled without a home.

They are wide open for a good "Shock Post"

Ain't that the truth. Did Easynews reveal the reason(s) for the
initial curtailment of posting privileges?
