Every once in a while, the cats do something that is just funny as
heck. This is probably one of those "you had to be there" stories, but
I'm going to try to tell it anyway.
BabyCat is being allowed out with the other cats more every day. Even
Bootsie now only gives her a passing glare and maybe a hiss, the rest
seemed to accept her pretty well.
Bosley was on the couch; I was on the other end with BabyCat in my lap.
She tottered right over to Boz, nose-to-nose. I thought, oh, great,
this is good, this is a positive interaction. Then all of a sudden she
slapped him on the nose with her tiny paw, and just as quick as
lightning, HIS paw came up and he smacked her like a hockey puck. She
actually went airborne, off the couch and landed in the middle of the
floor.
She has a brand new respect for Bosley. So at least she isn't so goofy
she can't learn a lesson, namely I guess, what her position is on the
totem pole.
