It's too bad that kitten parts can be so difficult to identify :) We had taken a look at Ranger's bits and determined that she was a girl cat. The good thing is a neutering is much simpler than a spay. When they took her to be "neutered" the vet informed them that she was female. Dan decided to keep the name and make it short for Harriet.
