it means I've collapsed due to heat exhaustion and I'm probably in the
hospital. :)
You see, the forecast for tomorrow is for a high temperature of over
101F with not a cloud in the sky. Also, tomorrow Tom and I will be
working on straightening our fence, which has been doing a pretty good
imitation of the tower of Pisa on the north perimeter. We're planning on
starting at 6am, we have the shovels, wood, and concrete ready.
Why didn't we do this in the spring?
Sigh.

HA. We're having a regular cold snap tomorrow. It's allegedly supposed
to be 91. Our heat index was 116 today. Maybe you guys will get the
same respite in a couple of days.

Lots of fluids, please! Include in this fluid some isotonic stuff, as it
replaces the salts lost in sweating. And... drink *before* you start to feel
thirsty. And - have a mid-day break when the sun is at its highest.
Suncream/block too.... hats...

Be sure to drink plenty of liquids, keep your heads covered, and use lots of
sunscreen. And take lots of breaks!!

Ok, it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. We started before sunrise
and finished 2.5 hrs later. :)
The cats were very interested and they all came out to the enclosure to
get a good view.

But does the sun mean you now have cripsy duck breasts? I'm not going to
mention the other bits...
Cheers, helen s ;-)

LOL. Yep, cats love to *watch* people work - but you won't catch them doing
any (this the expression, "working like a d*g"!).

Funny, I hardly ever see a dog doing that, either. :P

Glad its done. I finished my outside errands a while ago and it was still
pretty nice out. But it is headed for 100f (38c)
At least here at night we can count on it getting down to 60f (16c)

Sounds like that bumper sticker/T-shirt/mug slogan I've seen:
"Work fascinates me. I can sit and look at it for hours."

Norway today, it is summer here as well, and we have to live with
temperatures between 25C - 30C (77F - 86F), we love it!
Not too cold, not too hot, and at nights we don't have to deal with a bed
resembling a swimming pool... :-)
