Marina - 03 Jul 2005 19:39 GMT
Well, I'm off to the island tomorrow noon. I hope Frank won't regale us
with his 'singing' for all the three hours on the bus and the half hour
on the boat. :o/ I also hope Miranda isn't scared stiff the whole way,
like she was when we were going to TED. I hope it doesn't take her too
long to not be afraid of the Out. I hope it doesn't depress me too much
to be there without Nikki. I've packed her ashes and am going to scatter
them in one of her special spots. I hope Miranda learns to hunt even
without the excellent teacher Nikki would have been. Seems I have a lot
of hopes for this summer. :oP

Anyway, I'll be back in just a few weeks to pack for my move, while the
kitties stay on the island with their Grandmeowmie, aunties and
barecousins. Meanwhile, purrs and meatloaf meditations are always
forthcoming to anyone in need here. And don't talk too much! (I still
have over 200 messages unread.)

Have a good time Marina!  It'll be really busy when you get back.
You'll have to eventually get Leo, tell us about Miranda and Frank's
island adventures, and it sounds like you're moving too.

Have a good time on the Island, Marina, and I hope you have a relatively
quiet trip over. =o) I hope Miranda will take to Island life happily, and
that Nikki's spirit will be content when her mortal remains are scattered in
the place on earth she loved second only to her regular home.  Take lots of
pictures!

We will miss you while you're gone, of course, but getting this bunch to
stop talking is a bit of a tall order. =o)

WAH!! I bet half of us here wish we had our own island to vacation on.
Have a wonderful time and think of all the rest of us suffering in the
summer heat wishing we could be there with you!

while you are there. Purrs for you all.

Just to say that we here will be thinking of you during the poignant
time without Nikki.

Revel in the enjoyment Frank & Mir (as I'm sure she will) have in the
Great Island Out.

Purrs too for The Move not to be too stressful.
