I'm going to see the kitten (Leo) whose picture I posted the other day.
I'm visiting him tomorrow, and probably paying a deposit for him. I'll
take the camera, of course. Watch this space.

He's being fostered here in Helsinki. Not that it would have been any
problem to go to Tallinn, it only takes a few hours across the Gulf of
Finland.
Come to think of it, Miranda's half Estonian.

WOW. Can't wait. I can recommend a tabby & white boy myself ;-)

Tabbies are tops! Just ask Francesca and Nina who have filled the Tabby
Deficiency in my life nicely.
Ow! Oops, Black NON-tabby cats are also tops, according to Panther.
Looking forward to seeing more pictures of Leo the Uber-Cutie, Marina. =o)

Ohmigosh, ohmigosh, ohmigosh! What a charmer! When I came in the door,
first of all two large d*gs tried to rush me. The DH of the fosterer
took them outside so they wouldn't disturb us. Then the fosterer (Mande)
showed me Leo where he was sleeping on a wooden chest behind some coats
hanging in the hallway. He looked up at me with sleepy eyes, and the
minute I said a few words to ('oh, you're gorgeous aren't you?') he
started purring. He stood up and started making biscuits, and when I
stretched out my hand to him, he headbutted it like mad and licked it
and purred. And then he climbed up my arm and started kissing me! And he
purred all the time. Oh, he really knew how to convince a Meowmie-to-be
that he was the right choice! None of the other cats there were as
friendly, though no-one was unfriendly, either. I lifted him up and he
snuggled right down, purring his fuzzy little head off all the while. <melt>
The fosterer said she had 14 cats at the moment, most of them kittens.
She has three white cats who are deaf. They're staying with her. The
d*gs are also rescues from Estonia. Some pics of Leo and his foster
siblings at

Serious KFW!!!
Oh, and I did make a reservation now, and paid a deposit for Leo. Mande
gave me his pet passport as security, and promised to take good care of
him until I can take him home. I have no doubt she will. Everything
looked so nice and clean, you'd never imagine there were so many cats
and d*gs living there.
Now, how to wait until August??

Beautiful pictures. I'll be looking forward to August when you get him,
also hearing about your new home.

Wonderful! He looks like he would be the right age for a playmate
with Miranda, if indeed she is actually still a hoolikitten. I like
the picture of him kissing the other kitten. The tuxedo in #5 looks
very silly. :)

<swoon> He is great, almost like a baby Boyfriend! He is a mackerel tabby
just the same and only his white markings differ slightly. I hope he will
enrich your life like Boyfriend has mine.

How cute! Leo looks like the camera caught him in the middle of
showing his cute playfulness to his new meowmie. Either that, or
showing his maleness! ;-) At any rate, he should be a lively companion
for Miranda.

Kumani and Tyche would like to warn you that tabbies are very bad
kitties...but also very good to have. :)

EEEEEEEK!! Thud! KF all over the place!
Leo definitely knows how to charm his way into a good home. =o) Pan
used the same methods on me, pretty much. I'm glad he's about to
become Frank and Miranda's baby brother.
Lucky you, Marina!
