OK - I retract *EVERYTHING* I said about the man.

He sux.  Correction. He *SUX* big time.

I hope they shut down canned hunts and he loses a major chunk of change in
the process!!!!

(Sigh)....I heard about these places years ago...being from the south, the
ones I heard about most were in TX.
What good ole Ted doesn't state in his website is the mantra of all of them:
that even if you don't have a clue how to hunt, can't see good, never held a
firearm in your life - they'll make sure you bring home a trophy (antlers,
skin, head (!)) of whatever critter you care to blow away
(or play Robin Hood w/arrows) there.....but it'll cost you bigtime. There is
no doubt in *my* mind re Ted's thinking. $$$

Says right here:

$5000 Includes:
-Meals and accomodations
-Guide fee
-Your choice: Trophy Axis, Aoudad, Oryx, Fallow and Blackbuck. Whitetail
available for additional fee. Call for pricing.

Apparently you don't have to know how to hunt or be interested in feeding
your family to be guaranteed a "kill".  That just SUX.

Don't go to those websites any more, darlin' Jill...the ones they run deep
in the 'Glades where I come from, they stick you up on a little platform
(wearing full cammy
- and I don't mean "camisole" - gear built on a tree or pole so you can be
safe from yet surprise your prey as it wanders into your (walled-off
unobtrusively) area. The whole scenario would be funny if it weren't so
calculated and *mean* but they evidently aren't lacking customers of the
opposite sex! (barf).

I'd rather wear a tightly laced corset all day with a chemise, pantalets,
the whole nine yards of heavy fabric than sit in a tree stand waiting for an
animal to walk by so I could kill it.

ROFL that's because you are *not* the opposite sex!
Those places would be in bad shape if *we* were their only source of
revenue.....OTOH I can shoot pretty good w/a sight and enjoy guns @ ranges,
but only targets not living beings. Even then, you take your life in your
hands LOL as there is always some newbie waving their firearm around in the
wrong direction!
