I just got a text message from Nancy on my phone. You remember I posted
a couple of months ago that Nancy had finally found a better job tht
would get her away from the slave-driver that currently keeps her
shackled to her desk 60 and 70 hours a week? And that her a****le boss
was refusing to release her to her new job (which had to happen, since
new job was for another newspaper in the same media group)? Seems she
just learned that July 15 is her last day at the Redlands paper! And she
has next week off (starting tomorrow) for comp time. Finally, the end is
in sight!

Now I've just got to get more results in my job search. Though I'm not
in TOO much of a hurry - I don't to leave my little Roadcat untended for
another week or two.

So thank you all for the purrs you offered up. They worked once again.

That's great news, Dan.  Congrats to your wife.  Sounds like Harri will
have lots of attention for the next week or so.

We'll keep purring for you to find a good job in two weeks. Not sooner. :)

What a relief! I hope Nancy loves her new job, and that you get a job
that starts right after Harri has healed completely. ;o)

Purrs that job hunting goes well  next week.  Now that Harri and Conan are
taken care of, maybe you can concentrate on yourself.  Best wishes.   MLB

That's great news, Dan. Will continue with purrs that you find the ideal
job, preferably one that gives you the option to work from home when you
want to.
