Thank you both for offering to take my cats should the worst happen and at
one stage it seemed it might. You are truly good people.
It looks like I might be here for a while yet now, so you are excused ;-)

It was one of my main worries. I knew no "mainstream" people would be able
to take either one. KFC has long gone past her sell by date and she is very
grumpy too. Boyfriend is still a scaredy cat and needs space.
