I scream for Ice Cream!

MomDad and Mom are eating Ice Cream and I WANT IT!!

I ooze up onto the table and try to put my face in the bowl. They
don't like that.

So I sit on their laps and bat their spoons.

They now eat ice cream while walking around with the bowls in their
hands. I follow them and SCREAM!!!

(Sometimes they let me lick the bowl when they are done. Y'know, just
to shut me up. Otherwise I shriek all night.) MomDad say they
shouldn't let me do that because I am FAT. But how will I get FATTER?
I will have to eat MORE cat food!

I also like to sniff MomDad's beer, but he won't let me try any of
that. MEANIE!

(I lick the top of it when he's not looking.)

My two also love ice cream. The last few years, on New Years Eve we
set out a half gallon of plain ice cream and let the cats go crazy. It
is always a big hit with the cats and we love to watch them get
absolutely coated in ice cream! I figure they deserve a special treat
once a year, at least while they can still tolerate dairy products.

Do what I do when they're eating ice cream: jump onto one hoomin's
shoulder and just as they are bringing the spoon to their mouth, stick
your head in front of it, mouth open. I *almost* managed to get some
that way. Maybe you can perfect my method.

Hoomins are VERY mean about sharing their ice cream! My Meowmie doesn't have
it around very often, but she lets herself buy it in very hot weather. I
just ADORE the stuff, but she'll never share with me. She does let me clean
out her bowl when she's done, but it's simply not enough. I want a little
bowl of ice cream for my very own! But I never get it. =o(

I'm very lucky. My hoomin give me my own dish of ice cream when they have
some.

If we put chocolate syrup on our ice cream we will put a little plan ice
cream in a small dish for the cats.

Poor Tyche! I make my guys their own ice milk - I make up powdered goats
milk and freeze it into ice cube trays. I give them 5 or 6 cubes at a time,
and they absolutely love it! <G>
