If anyone knows of a good home in Southern California that needs a
little, tiny kitten...

When Nancy and I were visiting with Harri Friday night one of the vet
techs was checking on a kitten in a nearby cage. This was a little tiny
thing. We asked the kittens story. It seems someone found this little
kitten wandering around, and it appeared to be sick. This person brought
the kitten to the vet hospital and dropped him off. The little guy had
runny eyes and a runny nose and diarhea. The clinic took him in and
treated him, and he's now nice and healthy.

He's between 4 and 8 weeks old (the vet tech I spoke to said she thinks
about 6 weeks), he's as cute as can be, and he's very scared in a place
with such strange smells and noises. He really needs for someone to give
him a good home. Nancy and I would love to, but with our 6 we're already
4 cats over what our landlord allows.

You can see a photo of the cute little guy at
http://www.catfolks.net/TinyKitten.jpg. If you know of someone wanting
to adopt him, they can call VCA AllCare in Fountain Valley at
800-944-PETS or 714-963-0909. It would be SO wonderful to see this
frightened little sweet thing placed into a loving home...

Awwww!  Look at the pretty bitty baby kitty!  Unfortunately I'm too far away
to be of any use (like Persia would allow me to adopt another anyway...
she's a single-cat cat if there ever was one).

Sorry, I'm having enough problem dealing with the newest addition of a
third cat.

Three is plenty for me

Kristi, did they ever figure out your sink overflow/clog problem?  I gather
things are still okay with them not knowing about Mayhem :)

Oh yeah, the owner came and fixed  it.  Mischief was out and about, but
Imp and Mayhem were in my roommate's bedroom with the door shut.  As
far as I know he didn't even know they were there.  *whew*

Great news that your Harri is home and she's recovering so nicely!!

And the kitten is SOOOOOOOOOOOOO adorable.  I hope he finds a forever home
ASAP.

Dan, you've a good heart.  A whole lot of purrs for this baby to find a
home.  The only person I can think of is Mary from L.A. who is a wildlife
rescuer (squirrels) who has the amazing Mimi (cat)-- she used to post in
abpa -- anyone know her?

He's so cute, he reminds me of Tweed's Boyfriend. If I didn't live 8,000
miles away, I'd be very tempted.

A house is not a home, without a cat.

Hs *is* a little like BF.  BF has a little tabby bit on his nose  (Nüle:  I
love cats with "noses..")  When he is sitting he has a perfect triangle on
his chest between his front legs and on each front leg he matches with a
small tabby pattern.  I must get (or borrow) a digicam to show you.

I am always tempted by each appeal for a cat/kitten who needs someone.  I
would have them all in a minute.  Until I get sensible.  It's not the cost
of the food, it's the vet's bills if they get seriously ill.

I will keep with two for now.  KFC is getting really old.  I expect mega
vet's bills soon.  I am prepared for it.
She did another collared dove in my kitchen today..so she is feeling well I
suppose. I don't have to worry quite yet then ;-)
