My handsome boy, Jazz, went to the RB this morning. I just came from the
Vet's where I said goodbye. He looked so tired I knew it was time to let him
go. His kidneys were so compromised that the doctor said whatever he could
do would not guarantee his getting better. And he wasn;t making it easy on
anybody. He fought all the way. I think this would make it so much better
for him. He wont have to fight anymore. He gave me 12 1/2 good years of his
life and made me very happy. Please purr for his safe journey to the RB and
thank you all for your good thoughts.

I hardly know what to say, Lydia, as nothing will be enough. I am very glad
you shared a photo of him recently so we could all see how handsome he was.
And he certainly was one of the best-looking boycats I ever saw. I still
have some candles left, and will light one to light his path.

I am so very sorry, and I am grieving with you and for you. It was the
right thing to do for Jazz, but what a shock, nevertheless! I was afraid
we'd have to say goodbye collectively to Harri--I never expected anything

Lydia,
I am so sorry!!! It's never easy to let go, I know.. And it seems so
cliche'd to say that he'll no longer suffer, or sometimes it sounds that
way; but I am happy that your baby's not in pain, and running strong and
happy over the Bridge. And I'm glad to hear that he went down fighting like
a good little champion. It's inspiring. many purrs and prayers for a gentle
walk into his next life, and for your healing and happy memories.
Blessed be,
Baha
