Harri's chest tubes are still draining a lot of liquid, so she's not
ready to come yet yet. She'll be at the vet at least through the
weekend. They haven't yet identified the microorganism causing the
infection, but the culture is growing so they should be able to make
that identification soon.

Harri is feelig much better and can breathe easily now. Nancy and I will
be running down to the vet to visit with my baby tonight and again on
Sunday.

The funny thing is that even after taking a bath Ranger was right back
up on the rim the next time I went into the bathroom. Her dunking and
bath didn't faze her at all. Of course I now pick her up and put on the
counter by the sink, but she keeps trying.

What a little nutcase! :)  Um, I hope she stays away from your, uh, nutcase!

Oh, that's very good news.  So, Harri does not have chylothorax, right?
Or does she have that in addition to her infection? I'm glad you're
going to visit your little sweet baby and tell her there are lots of
people praying for her quick recovery.

Amazing how much fluid can be pumped out of a sweet little Roadcat.
Purrs continuing right on.

Are they pumping fluids into too?  Seems to me they would have to.   MLB

That's good news. How is her appetite?
I know Rusty stopped  eating when he was on antibiotics.
Continue purrs for Harri to come home soon.

The Purr Watch continues and will, until Harri is back home and
healthy. But I'm glad to hear the little Roadcat is feeling better! =o)

YAY!  Ohmygawd, I *really* relieved now.  I'm just getting around to the
group again after a bout of intensive work, I'm hoping to read equally good
news about the rest of the kitties we're purring for!

Hugs,
