I'm sorry, but I really hate to see things degenerate like this because it
is like poor Harri's infection and can cause a complete shutdown :( I
understand fighting, but I don't understand a free for all which is what
this is becoming. I'm sorry if anyone feels I have no place in saying this,
but I'd really like to see people just ignore others if there is a problem
because in my experience no one is going to change anyone. There my .02.

Yeah, just ignoring abusive behavior works REALLY well.
Abusers sure think so.

OK, that didn't work. Apples. Oranges. But I see the point sailed directly
over your head. I will check the group for updates on Harri and the other
kitties but will gladly now ignore everything else until people grow up.
This is ridiculous and juvenile. Not abusive.

I think with all the *MAJOR* crises we've been dealing with both
individually, and as a group (life threatening health issues both for
masters and slaves, income threatening job issues, et. al.), it's no wonder
we're all a bit frayed at the edges. The stress lately has been tremendous.
However, I have faith that this group can survive this and anything else
life throws our way and still come out loving and caring for each other.

If we cannot get along in our homes and neighborhoods, how can we expect
nations to co-exist? There is a lot to be said for "do unto others as you
would have them do unto you". I vote for PEACE!!!!

I piggyback on here to remind us all that we have two special kitties
in trouble here, and all the energy would be better spent channeled
into peaceful purrs for their recovery.

Five, please: Conan who is up for "re-evaluation" at the Orange
County Animal Shelter June 29 and may be euthanized if we don't
find him a home. He had one for ten days until he was returned for
having a cold.

Purrs for a forever home for Conan and smelly litterbox offerings for
someone who didn't care enough to doctor him through a cold. I wonder
if they would turn a sick child over to Children's Services?

Fifty years ago my Mama taught me if I can't say something nice about
someone, then don't say anything at all. Mostly i try to live by that
axiom. But sometimes something slips by. Perhaps it is due to a
build-up of stress. The group has been full of stress for quite some
time now. But the best vent for stress is kitty purrs. So my cats are
purring and I am praying that we all come back to the loving concern
for each other in all our diverse personalities.
