I am a week late, but Rusty finally got his purrsday and anniversary
present. It is a brand new litter box.
I took 3 buses to go to Petsmart
after shopping in the last week or so at PetValu, Super Pet, Wal-Mart, and
Zeller. There are a lot more selections at Petsmart. I
ended up buying one with a hood and swing door, similar to
Rusty's old Booda Loo. Too bad nobody stocks Booda Loo anymore. It lasts 10
years. The new one doesn't look as sturdy
and probably won't last another 10 years. I saw some other types
of litter boxes that I like. But they cost almost $50 not including
tax. Sales tax here is a whopping 15%.
On the way home I realized I saw the same litter box at Wal-Mart,
probably at a cheaper price. But then I don't want to go back to
Petsmart to return it.
Now I just have to wait and see how Rusty likes his new box.
There is little if any adaption requied on his part. The box is the same
size as the one.
