I'm bringing Jessie to the vet today at 4:00PM CDST.  However, she looks a
little livelier today than yesterday (and DH isn't home, so it could be one
of those famous cat sulks we all know about).  But it's time for her vacs,
and I always operate on the premise that it's better to be safe than sorry,
so I'll probably go ahead and take her in and have bloodwork done as well.

I'll let everyone know what the vet said when I get back home.

Thanks for all the purrs, they're really appreciated.

Hugs,

CatNipped

Know exactly what you mean about better safe than sorry. When Sammy
was diagnosed with her heart murmur, I almost didn't take her in. She
had been lethargic and listless - totally unlike herself, when I made
the appointment, but by the time her appointment rolled around she
seemed about 90% better. Like I said, I almost didn't keep the
appointment, but since I'd already rearranged my shcedule, and it was
almost  time for her annual vacs, I kept it. I'm very glad I did,
since her problem was diagnosed, and although she was acting almost
normal she still had a fluid buildup in her chest. The buildup was
treated with medications, which I'm sure sped up her recovery. And of
course all the cats ow eat her prescription food, which seems to be
better for all of them (though much more expensive).

We'll be waiting on pins and needles for her report.
