I really hate to add more worries to the group right now, but I know that
purrs are a self-renewing resource and I could use some for our little
Jessie.  She hasn't been feeling well for the last 2 or 3 days, not very
active when she's normally pretty hyper.  I'm feeling super guilty because
I've been stuck in my office working so much lately that I hadn't even
noticed - DH is the one who had to point it out to me (and he thought she
was pouting about him pushing her away from his tuna 4 days ago!!).

She horked up a hairball yesterday and I'd hoped that would help her feel
better, but it doesn't appear to have.  She's not dehydrated (skin snaps
back quickly when raised), but she's not eating but a tiny bit and she
couldn't afford to lose any weight, as tiny as she is.  I'd just weighed her
on the digital baby scale I got three weeks ago and she was 7.5 pounds (I
was wrong BTW in thinking, and stating here in the past, that she was only
around 4 pounds - don't know where I pulled that figure from!).  I weighed
her again tonight and she was only 7.15 pounds.  That's a pretty big weight
loss percentage-wise.

She's still drinking from the faucets, but she's having trouble jumping up
to the counter top to get to the faucet.  She seems to be pretty weak
(although she is a bit of a drama queen, like her meowmie).

I know I'm a worry wort, and with all the sad things going on here, it's
making me even more worried, but I can't help it, I'm scared for her.  I'm
calling the vet first thing in the morning and will take her in (since she
is still eating, drinking and pottying, and is not dehydrated, I don't think
this warrants an emergency vet visit).  But in the meantime I'd appreciate
some purrs for her.

Hugs,

CatNipped

Absolutely! As worried as Nancy and I and the furkids are about Harri,
we can still spare purrs for Jessie. None of us want to see our owners
feeling poorly.

PURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!
Hope Jessie's soon feeling better, Catnipped.  Maybe she's just trying to
lay a guilt trip on you about the hours you've needed to work, lately. =o)
Hopefully, it will soon pass.

Thou Shalt Not Hesitate to ask for purrs for any loved one, be they furry
or non-furred. ;o)

Megapurrs are on the way for Jessie, that the TED can quickly resolve
whatever's causing her symptoms and have her feeling just fine.

Lots of purrs for Jessie! I know it's pointless to say don't worry, it's
impossible not too, I just hope your worries come to nothing.

Here come some from over the pond for dear little Jessie to feel better

I'd wonder about you if you didn't worry about the owners' health.  I'll put
you on the owners' purr list.
