This guy built a HUGE lego church and let his cats wander around in it.
This is a link to the pictures. While you are there, take a look at
all the rest of the pictures of the church and read the comments. I'm
convinced this guy had nothing better to do with a LOT of time.

wow, I am suitably impressed. I am so jealous of anyone with artistic
talent. This builder sure has it in spades. Wonderful construction,
wonderful pictures of the cats.

Bridget <metektor@insightbb.com> had some very interesting things to
say about Cats in church:

I was thinking about that. Back in my childhood Lego days they didn't have
ones that lit up. I think Mom got tired of buying me extra Legos because
they didn't have enough of the "clear" bricks to form decent windows. At
one point earlier on I had these huge styrofoam Legos from which I could
(and did) build a fort large enough for me to sit inside. Imagine what fun
that would be for cats! Oh look, we can sit in it and also chew it to
pieces and really mess up the room! Mom doesn't vacuum nearly enough, you
know.

I assume it was a Cat-holic church?

The builder was actually a woman by the name of surprise, Amy Hughes. =o)
However, I agree, it was a testament to the power of legos. What a project!
My friend Martine and I agree we each have a luxuriant fantasy life, but
neither of us have ANYTHING on this woman! I can also understand the
absorbing pleasure of working on a big, ongoing project, though. If she
built it on her diningroom table though, I wonder if everyone has to eat
their dinners off plates balanced on their laps in her living room. <G>
