Jean rang yesterday. She's still sore, but feeling much better, and is now
capable of taking a few steps.
She wants to thank everyone for the cards - and yes, the nurses wondered if
she was famous somehow because she's been getting cards from all around the
world.
I was goign to visit today, but Cary and I have got mild colds. Whilst that
wouldn't worry most people, I figure that someone has just had their ribs
pried apart probably doesn't need to sneeze & cough more than absolutley
necessary. I'll have to send my apologies, and visit later when she's
staying with her daughter as part of the recovery process.
She sends purrs to all, and once again, never thought of herself at all!

Glad to know that things are still going well for her.
Take care of that cold, Yowie. You don't want it turning into
something worse.

I have a card for her, but don't know if I should send it to the hospital
address?

Probably not - she'll be out fairly soon. Do you have her home address, or
should I send it to you via e-mail?

Thanks for the update, Yowie. I agree with you. It's better for anyone
with a cold to stay away from somebody who has just had surgery. I'm sure
she appreciates it.
