Unfortunately, the Memphis show looks like it's going to be a bust.  The way
they've got it set up is odd from the outset.  Last night was "by invitation
only Preview" (allegedly invitations were sent to the area art patrons) or
$20 at the gate.  No one showed up.

Having the show during the day on a Friday just plain doesn't make sense.
Most people have to work.  John gave me the day off so I can spend it with
my sweet Persia.  Unfortunately, she's hiding under the bed.  I've been
coming home morning and evening to feed her but she's seriously not happy
with me being gone even though she's in her own home.  She's hiding under
the bed and won't come out :(

Peaches is happy no matter what.  She chirps when she sees me and of course
she's got a cage full of toys so she amuses herself.

I'm going to hang out at home for a while today and see if I can get Persia
to come out.  Poor put-upon cat.
