I bought a lovely white pair of new running shoes and wore them
for the first time yesterday. After watching a bit of TV last
night I was going to put the garbage out and found a
surprise when I was putting on my shoes......kitty throwup!
No place else, just inside of one of my NEW shoes. I questioned
the four, but got no confession. I suspect it was Patty, because
she eats crunchies too fast sometimes and then throws them up.
Luckily, I saw the suprise before putting my foot in the shoe.
I guess that was her comment on my shoe selection.

LOL. What is it w/cats & shoes?! My Daisy loves to rub her face against
my sneakers. Considerably preferable to puking in them. ;o)

My cats love to rub their faces against my stinky old shoes.
I guess they like them because they smell like me. I've never
had anyone interested in my new shoes though!

My sister's cat Sid had a shoe fetish. Whenever he came across a shoe,
he'd get all cuddly with it, and try to cram as much of his body into
it as he could fit. This wasn't easy after he grew out of kitten
stage, so he'd usually just lay across them. Even if your feet were
still in them.
Alas, he's long gone to the Rainbow Bridge.

Nina had much the same shoe fetish as a baby, but she appears to have grown
out of it. My friend Vee's Cat Tripper would always generously mark my
shoes with his scent, and it drove Pan crazy. Pan doesn't think I'm just his
hoomin, he thinks I'm his wife who was two timing him. =o) Panther Darling,
Tripper is a beautiful fellow, but you're my main love...

Felix has been known to sleep with his head stuffed into one of my
shoes.

I truly don't know whether that is better or worse than a detached

ROFL. Is that what you found in YOUR shoe?

Ewwww for the shoes, but a handy tip for the inhalers of kibble among us :-)
Put some big rounded pebbles or large marbles into the food dish with the
kibble.Patty will have to at *around* the marbles/pebbles, and that should
slow her down enough that puking because ove speed-eating shouldn't be a
problem any more.

That's what my sister did. Her kitties used to inhale too fast, then
throw it back up. She got some colorful rubber balls from somewhere
and mixed them in with the food. It worked.

I saw this episode (rerun) of Friends the other day. Ross' monkey Marcel
pooped in one of Monica's shoes. Monica asked, "Which ones?" (meaning what
pair of shoes) and Rachael said, "The left one." Monica said no, which
shoes? A few minutes later Phoebe showed up, was told the monkey crapped in
one of Monica's shoes and she said "Which one?" Monica said "The cute black
ones!" "No, I meant, right or left? Because it's good luck if it's the
left."
Oh dear. I knew there was a reason I avoided this television show :)
