Tiffy's eye examination went well today. Her corneal ulcer has healed, but
there is slight blood vessel scarring. We will use anti-inflammatory
medication, the Interferon in Tears to try and reduce the corneal scarring.
The responsive of the corneal scarring can be unpredictable. This treatment
may take 1 to 2 months to respond. It is important that we closely watch her
eye for increased levels of ocular discharge, redness, blueness or
discomfort.
Medications:
- Lysine Powder: once daily. Increase to twice daily if Tiffy gets stressed.
- Zovirax Ophthalmic Ointment: Stop this medication for now, but use again 6
times daily if I am suspicious of another viral ulcer.
- Interferon A injections: Finish off the course. 3 injections left.
Administer once every three days.
- Interferon In Tears #1Rx: One drop to the left eye twice daily.
Tiffy has to return to the Eye specialist in 6 weeks time. I will give you
an update again at that time.
Thank you to all for your continuing purrs and support.
Purrs to all,
Flippy in Melbourne, Australia.

Glad Tiffy's eye is getting better. Higs and purrs to her and her worried
staff that the anti-scarring treatment works really well, and both she and
her slaves can stop worrying baout eye treatments. It must be rough on all
of you!

Best wishes to you Flippy, I hadn't known that Tiffy was ill. It was kind
of you (as always) to take time out to send me condolences on h0p's
passing while taking care of her. Oddly enough, we had just started
treating the h0p for corneal ulcers three days before he went into his
final seizure and I feel certain that that was what put him over the edge.
I'll keep your list of medications on hand because you just never know. I
have no doubt that Tiffy will heal well under your care, as h0p would have
if he hadn't had so many pre-existing conditions working against him.

Continuing purrs and healing thoughts for Miss Tiffany from us all here.
Pine Cone wants me to tell Miss Chloe from him to ghost out to the ship as
it docks in England tonight and spend the rest of the voyage with the
Mouser. He also says that she is, as always, the most beautiful female in
the world. I think they need to get a hotel room.

Thank you, Pam. We appreciate the purrs and healing thoughts for Tiffy.
Miss Chloe has been practising her ghosting and now she has perfected her
technique. She will join the Mouser this evening as her Knight in Shining
Fur requests. Of course, she expects special treatment, and treats, for
being the Captain's wench and all. She has asked me to fax her dietary
requirements to the Good Ship Mouser post-haste.

Aww, thanks Flippy. Miss Chloe arrived safe and sound and the fat wench has
been ordered to make taking care of Miss Chloe her top priority. She
refused and is now nursing a couple of large scratches on her arm. The fat
wench now says to tell you that Miss Chloe will not suffer for want of any
kind.
I have already set up a special area in my cabin just for my beautacious
Miss Chloe. It has a lambs wool lined bed, catnip mousies, drink well
fountain, and every other comfort I could think of for her. I think she
will enjoy being my pampered wench.

Fat wench note: do you think that PC is totally besotted by Miss Chloe? I
do too.
