I suspect he's too little to get on the counter by himself, and was
placed there for picture-taking purposes only. Might be wrong, of course.

Well of course, with *any* bitty around (or counter-kitty) sharp objects
should be point-down.  We've all seen the pics of cats attempting to jump on
a cactus :)  Anyway, little boy is an adorable little tabby just begging to
be added to your home!  How did you find out about him?

Jill
P.S.  He looks like a "Chester", to me.

May well be right about him not being able to make it to the counter
on his own - buuut, you usually don't find out they're able to get
in/onto something until they're doing it on a regular basis.

Reminds me of when we got Redunzel and Sarrasine our bed is quite high
and Dave assumed the kitties who were only 8 weeks old wouldn't get
that far up. So he dozed off after I had gone to work and was woken by
what he described in his email as "A far far too close up view of their
fighting prowess"

I know he will bring (I just visited Tish's "engrish" site, so "bring" was

probably instigate more mishcief with Meranda!

With Frank and with the current owner. She seems to think I could be a
good Meowmie. The only issue is whether she'll keep him until August,
after I've moved into the new place.

Well, the plan is that he will keep Miranda busy so that they both leave
Frank alone, but it could fail miserably. You see, I'm not getting him
for me, oh no, perish the thought. I'm getting him for Miranda to play with.

I thought that must be it, but beware: Snowball arrived as company for
4yo Pericles to play with as 6yo Bandit was finding the going a bit
tough. Instead Peri would have nothing to do with hoolikitten and Bandit
was kept busy by both of them individually!

Now of course there are just the 2 :-((  but at least Bandit has an
easier time as Snowball is roughly the same size and weight.

But purrs for a successful introduction nonetheless, and eftsoons with
it!!

Of COURSE you're getting him for Miranda to play with......;o) That sweet,
stripey little face and body and those little white paws have NO human
appeal, nope, nope!  I hope your plan works for both Frank's and Miranda's
sakes. But you have heard the saying  "One cat just leads to another" right?

That's a brilliant plan! Actually, I thought of it too, when I decided
that Mandy must be lonely, with me out at work all day, and therefore what
the household needed was another cat to for Mandy to play with and to keep
her company.

It didn't take *that* many weeks for Mandy to overcome her shock and
horror at the very idea of an Introodur Cat in her territory!

I love cute little striped kittens. I really, really, need to stay away
from available kittens until this bout of kitten fever passes off!

Yeah! We got Basho and Issa to play with Luna. Then when Luna "weaned"
them and wouldn't have anything to do with them, we got Fez and Rufous
to keep Luna company. :)

My vet is of the firm opinion that cats do much better when adopted in
pairs about the same age. Of ccourse, that's why he took two of Spot's
kits home when offered.

Yes, I thought there's a little something something in his eyes. I think
he's going to be a real character. I don't really know his history. He
was advertised on a pet board on the net. He's here in Helsinki. I'm
going to ask for more info on him.

What a cute little tiger baby. How old is he now? If it's through Apula,
you never know with the owners, if they *can* keep him until your move.
What have they said when you asked about it?

They said I have to pay a deposit if I want them to keep him until
August. I don't see any problem with that. They are asking rather a lot
for him, 80 e. I suppose that'd not necessarily a bad thing, if it's to
ensure that he goes to a good home.

I'm afraid he did get away. They wanted to get rid of him sooner than I
could take him. :o( Buuut, I've already found another candidate. We may
not have the same cat overpopulation problem as many other countries
seem to have, but this time of year there seem to be a fair amount of
kittens available. Here's a pic (the red and white boy).

He lives in Espoo, which is right next to Helsinki. I've asked for more
info about him. His present slave already approved me for his Meowmie,
and was very happy to har that he would have a playmate and his own

Orange is cute. I don't know if they tend to grow bigger than average -
it's probably just a coincidence that the enormous cat that marched up to
me in the street the other day to demand I open the door to one of the
houses was kind of pale orange and white. Dilute, I think they call it,
almost butterscotch, and one of the biggest domestic cats I have ever
seen.

That little fellow looks darker. Really cute, and he might not grow to the
size of a small horse!

Too bad about the first little kitty boy, Marina, but
this one looks so adorable too. But don't they all?
I hope this works out for you. You'll have 3 different
colors now, just like foster children. :)

Finland must be the land of extra-cute kittens, is all I can say. =o)
Too bad about the little tabby, but the red and white fellow looks like
he'll keep Mir-Mir on her toes. <G>

He's so CUTE!!!  Just like a miniature Sgt Huey.  I really hope he comes to
live with you, Frank, and Miranda.  Please keep us updated on the ownership
search.
