Still looking on the job front

It's been almost two weeks since I last spoke with the folks in Irvine,
but as of this morning they tell me I'm STILL in the running for the
job. I've also applied for a couple of telecommute jobs, and would
really like to see one of those materialize.

Meanwhile, next week I've got a consulting assignment. I'll be
installing a handful of linux servers for a company across town. It's
only good for 20 hours at $40/hr, but it's sure better than nothing.

And I am holding up pretty well after the surgery, thanks to those
wonderful pain meds.

Thanks for the update.  Good luck on the job front.  Good news on the
consulting gig, and it's great to hear that you're feeling okay after
the surgery.
